Managing graduation projects in universities can be a problem. It often relies on online forms and students have to wait a long time to get a response by email. Sometimes students even work on the same topic, which is a waste of time for both students and their supervisors. This project is about creating a Smart Senior Project System, a website that makes it easier for students to send in their project ideas and for supervisors to review them.

The system is easy to use. It works in two languages, Arabic and English. Students can log in with their university email, fill out a form, and see what is happening with their project idea in real time. Supervisors can look at project ideas related to their area of expertise, say yes or no to them, give feedback, and post dates or announcements. The system checks if project ideas are similar to ones that have already been done so students do not accidentally copy someone's work. There is also a chatbot that can answer questions right away. The system is hosted on the cloud so it can handle a lot of users.

The Smart Senior Project System makes things better by being easy to use, open, and smart. It helps students come up with project ideas and stops them from working on the same topic. It also helps universities in Bahrain to use technology in their work, fostering digital transformation efforts across the Kingdom.

Students at the University of Bahrain currently submit their graduation project proposals through an online form and follow up by email. While this process works, it's not very efficient, responses can take two weeks or more. One major issue is that students submit their ideas without knowing whether similar projects already exist. In addition, supervisors sometimes don't receive all the necessary details, making it difficult to properly evaluate proposals. Deadlines can also be unclear, which affects the overall quality of the projects.

To address these problems, the team developed the Smart Senior Project System, a full web application that streamlines proposal submission and includes a similarity-checking feature to help students choose more original topics. The system also allows students to track the status of their submitted proposals and receive feedback from supervisors. In addition, it includes a chatbot that provides instant guidance and answers to common questions.

The objective of this project is to develop and deploy a smart, web-based graduation project proposal management system that enhances efficiency, ensures originality, and improves communication between students and supervisors.

This project covers the proposal management aspect of graduation projects, submissions, reviews, originality detection, and communication, but does not include project development, grading, or evaluation. More advanced features including external learning system or mobile application integration are beyond the scope due to time and resource constraints.
